Anthony Cooper
My art is ambiguous, my passion is uncertainty, from the wave/particle duality of light to the Voodoo Zombie. My father is black, my mother white, I am somewhere in the middle and this is where my paintings reside. The space between reality and mythology, between the dead and the living, between permanent and the fleeting, between science fact and science fiction. It is a window into uncharted regions where Klee, Kandinski, Einstein, Schrödinger, Yung and Derrida debate the virtues, science and philosophy of Art
